Clean Coal and Coal Gasification Technology

As a part of PES' comittment to clean energy, PES' research and development team continues their industry leading research in the areas of coal purification and coal gasification.  PES Coal gasification technologies offer some of the most versatile and clean ways to convert coal into syngas, electricity and other valuable energy products.

Pure Energy is focusing future research in two primary areas for the Coal industry.

• Coal Purification - PES takes previously non commercial grade coal and purifies it for output of both gas and a high quality coke
• Coal Gasification - PES utilizes both commercial and non commercial coal to produce a syngas that may be used in the natural gas system, for electrical production or as a base material for liquid fuel production.
