Executive Management and Board of Directors
Ken Wishon – President and Chairman
- After spending his early career with NASA as project engineer on the Apollo space program Ken spent many years as a project/principal engineer in the nuclear power industry mainly with Bechtel, Inc. before moving over as a President of Pyrowaste and later NEC during the early commercialization of the high tempurature gasification technology.
John Rex – Executive Vice-President and Board
- John has spent a decorated career in the industrial construction industry as a civil engineer/senior project manager in both the public and private sectors and serves as an active member of the Washington business community.
- Josh has an active legal practice representing startups and middle market companies as general counsel and is the current executive director for the Birmingham Angel Network, LLC.
- Jeff’s background is in business management and CIS, but he has been involved as a principal with Pyrowaste and now PES for years and brings a strong business background to the board.
- Roy began his career with the US Army, retiring after 37 years as a Lieutenant General. Since then, Roy served as Senior Vice President for Domestic Operations in the Defense Business Unit of Washington Group International from October 2002 until September 2005. Currently, Roy is the President of Beauchamp and Assoc. where the company provides consulting and advisory services on logistics, technology introduction, construction business opportunity development and organizational and leader development.
Scott Carpenter – Board
- Scott, an engineer by training, was one of the seven original Mercury astronauts and has spent his career after NASA working with many of the leading scientist in the world, including early development of the pyrogenic gasification process. Scott currently maintains many personal and business connections within government and industry and is an invaluable member of the team.
Marion Welty – Board
- Marion along with her husband were the owners of PyroSol, Inc. and developed the original gasification technology that is the backbone of PES.
